Each May, North Central Electric Cooperative has a "workday" at Lake Metigoshe State Park. Co-op employees get together on a Saturday to help the state park get ready for the upcoming camping season. We trim trees, assemble docks, fix picnic tables, paint, clear trails and do general clean up in the park. Our members join us and we often have help from groups such as girl scout organizations. We provide a free noon meal, too! This year's workday is scheduled for May 14th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
